Lions International - 1975 Second Annual Wilshow

Cover created during the second Wilshow sponsored by the Lions International Stamp Club.

The cover has a red-orange cachet incorporating a map of the world, the Washington Monument and the Lions Club emblem. Underneath are the dates of the Second Annual Wilshow, October 10, 11, 12, 1975. The cover was stamped with the 10 cent World Peace through Law stamp (Scott #1576). It was canceled at the Wilshow Station, Washington, D. C., on October 12, 1975. The slogan cancel has the words "We Serve" and the Lions Club emblem. There is also a blue ink stamp impression with the words "United Nations" above a wreath with the words "Wilshow II/ 1975 / Washington / DC" in the center. There is also a black ink stamp oval impression with the words "Wilshow 75 Washington USA" and "New Zealand" around the circumference. Finally, there is a magenta ink stamp with an image of the sun and a canoe above the words, "Repubblika Ta' Malta"

The unaddressed cover has never been sealed.
