18 Original 10 inch by 8 inch Stills for the 1965 Ted Kotcheff Drama LIFE AT THE TOP, based on the novel by John Braine and starring Laurence Harvey, Michael Craig, Jean Simmons, Honor Blackman, Nigel Davenport, Allan Cuthbertson and George A. Cooper.
The selection includes a still of author John Braine with Laurence Harvey; George A. Cooper leading a League Against Cruel Sports march; a boxing scene rehearsal and Laurence Harvey drinking a yard of ale outside the British Lion public house.
Successful businessman Joe Lampton (Laurence Harvey) is married to the wealthy Susan (Simmons), has two children and lives in the mill town of Warley in northern England. But his career seems to have plateaued, leaving him disillusioned. This feeling is only exacerbated when he discovers his wife's infidelity with local man Mark (Craig). So he takes up with attractive TV host Norah (Honor Blackman) and moves with her to London, aiming to reignite the fire that drove him to the top.
The stills are in good condition with 2 punch holes at the edge of each still, one or two have slight creasing and other minor faults.
