Seller's Description

King Records was a United States based record label, headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, started in 1943 by Syd Nathan, specializing in country music, at the time still known as "Hillbilly music". King advertised "If it's a King, It's a Hillbilly -- If it's a Hillbilly, it's a King".

Tiny Bradshaw really had a two-part career, in the 1930s in swing and from the mid-'40s on as a best-selling R&B artist. This recording is in very good condition, with a decent gloss and showing no cracks, chips, or skips. Moderate scuff and scratch marks leave an excellent sound on both sides! Various months of 1954 are seen stamped on both labels.

Side K9175 presents the instrumental "Soft", and side K9176 offers, "Strange", featuring a vocal by Tiny. Both are performed by Tiny Bradshaw.
