Joseph Jasper Cabochon: Very Rare Collector Type; Long Shield Cut; Dendrites

A very attractive example of this rare jasper variety from a remote area of northeastern Oregon. The colors are a flattering mix of mauve, ivory and golden yellow arranged in alternating layers. At the top is a bouquet of mauve dendrites (branching patterns resembling trees or shrubs). The piece is polished front and back. It will look great in either a gold, silver or platinum setting. A dramatic piece for someone with the name of Joseph, a loved one having that name, or a very difficult to source piece for a collection of rare jaspers.
