STB014 This is a rare Uncle Sam double hand signed FDC that whilst appears of wartime origin and has a 1944 postmark is circa 20 years ago origin but made to look antique and it has great character too celebrating One For All For Uncle Sam and DOUBLE hand signed by both D-Day heroes Richard Todd and Jim Wallwork and is in truly outstanding condition.
Staff Sergeant James Harley Wallwork DFM was a British soldier and a member of the Glider Pilot Regiment who achieved notability as the pilot of the first Horsa glider to land at Pegasus Bridge in the early hours of D-Day, 6 June 1944, during the Second World War
