Original 1844 9 1/4 inch x 6 1/2 inch Stipple, etching and engraving titled HON’BLE MRS HENRY BAILLIE
Portrait of Philippa Baillie; almost whole length, seated, directed slightly to left, full face; one elbow leaning on table to left, holding handkerchief in lap; wearing fur-trimmed coat and hair in ringlets.

Engraved by William Henry Egleton (active 1833 - 1862). Line, stipple and mezzotint engraver who worked in London. Egleton engraved plates for the ‘Illustrations of Landscapes’ for Sir Walter Scott, the Author of the Waverley Novels, illustrations for the ‘Book on Beauty’ by J. Heath and the illustrations for the ‘Portraits of the Female Aristocracy’ by Finden.
After William Fisher (1817 - 1895). Studied for a time in Italy where he became a member of the Florentine Academy. In 1840 he moved to London and began to exhibit at the Royal Academy.
