Seller's Description
Grey Gull was officially incorporated in Boston on 31 December 1919. It was dissolved on 31 March 1934. Grey Gull's audio fidelity is generally slightly below average for the era. Furthermore, pressings are often in cheap shellac which gives them more surface noise and stood up to repeated playing poorly, further degrading the sound quality.
Offered here is a late 1920's example from this company. More clean than not, and showing moderate playwear of light scuffs and scratches. Background noise should be expected, but the needle tracks well with no skips, chips or cracks.
Side 3281C presents a waltz with vocal chorus, "Carolina Moon". Side 31210A lists a fox trot with vocal chorus, "Talk About Heaven".
