This Crown is mounted in a presentation case with a double sided view. On 29th July 1981 HRH Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer were married at St Pauls Cathedral in London. The Royal Mint was authorised to strike a commemorative crown to mark this special occasion. Relaxed and informal portraits of the couple, by sculptor Philip Nathan, appear on the reverse, capturing the friendly atmosphere of a popular and moving event.
