Original circa 1850 9 5/8 inch x 6 7/8 inch stipple and engraving titled G.E. LESSING
German writer, philosopher and dramatist (1729 - 1781).
Print by Albert Henry Payne (1812 - 1902). Painter, etcher and publisher; born in London, worked in Leipzig from 1838. In 1845 Henry Albert Payne became a citizen of Leipzig, where he founded the publishing company "Englische Kunstanstalt".
After Abraham Storck (circa 1635 - 1710). Abraham Jansz. Sturckenburg who later adopted the name Storck was born and worked in Amsterdam. He painted mainly seascapes and harbour scenes
