Seller's Description

Original British 17 inch x 11 inch 12 Page Illustrated Pressbook for the 1949 Alberto Cavalcanti Thriller FOR THEM THAT TRESPASS, based on the novel by Ernest Raymond and starring Stephen Murray, Patricia Plunkett, Richard Todd, Rosalyn Boulter, Michael Laurence, Joan Dowling, Mary Merrall, Vida Hope, Frederick Leister, Michael Medwin, John Salew, Harry Fowler, Irene Handl and Helen Cherry.

A frustrated upper-class writer decides that he will find real inspiration by examining his subjects first-hand. This leads him to begin wandering about the seamiest side of town where he witnesses a murder. When an innocent man is arrested, the writer refuses to assist him as the knowledge that he has been “slumming” could destroy his career. The young man is sentenced to 15 years in prison.

The pressbook is in good to very good condition with one vertical fold. The cover has completely separated at the spine.
