Seller's Description

Original 1968 Re-Release British 30 inch x 40 inch Quad Poster for the 1939 Victor Fleming Classic Romance GONE WITH THE WIND, based on the novel by Margaret Mitchell and starring Clark Gable, Vivien Leigh, Leslie Howard, Olivia de Havilland, Hattie McDaniel, Thomas Mitchell, Butterfly McQueen, Ann Rutherford, George Reeves, Victor Jory, Jane Darwell, Ward Bond, Ona Munson, Yakima Canutt, Harry Davenport, Carroll Nye, Laura Hope Crews, Alicia Rhett, Barbara O'Neil and Marcella Martin.

The spoiled daughter of a well-to-do plantation owner is forced to use every means at her disposal to claw her way out of poverty, following Maj. Gen. William Sherman’s destructive “March to the Sea,” during the American Civil War.

Other examples include Cleopatra, Doctor Zhivago, The Sound of Music, The Sand Pebbles, and the 1967 re-release of Gone with the Wind.
