The German Erzgebirge Werkstattan Olbenhau Winterfrueden/Ski music box is a beautifully crafted handmade collectible from the renowned Erzgebirgische Volkskunst brand. Made in Germany, this unique music box features intricate designs inspired by the winter season, with a charming ski theme. With a time period of manufacture dating back to 1970, this one-of-a-kind piece is a perfect addition to any collection or a delightful gift for music box enthusiasts. This music box is in wonderful condition but I believe it originally had two crossed skis.
This wonderful music box plays "Leise rieselt der Schnee in German and in English means "The Snow Falls Softly." The top revolves while the song plays. It has a pull/push button on the bottom to start/stop the music.
I am not an expert on these German music boxes but I find it expremely colorful and delightful. Please ask any questions before purchasing.
