Original British 30 inch x 40 inch Quad Poster for the 1955 Richard Murphy Drama THE GENTLE SERGEANT (THREE STRIPES IN THE SUN), based on the New Yorker Magazine article “The Gentle Wolfhound” by E.J. Kahn Jr. and starring Aldo Ray, Phil Carey, Dick York, Mitsuko Kimura and Chuck Connors.

A racist sergeant stationed in post-war Japan finds himself softening towards the children and falling for a local woman.

The poster is in very good folded condition with minor soiling in the bottom border.
