Antique Early Victorian Sterling Solid Silver Basting, Gravy or Hash Spoon, Fully Hallmarked For Exeter 1838, making this a 184 Year old Antique Treasure.
Fully hallmarked for ROBERT WILLIAMS, this is a very collectable and LARGE basting spoon, the Exeter Assay office closed in 1883 and so these items are getting rarer and very collectable
The Basting Spoon is a Full 31.5cm/12.5 inches Long, and weighs 113g, it is of the Fiddle Pattern design, it is monogrammed to the handle in script with the letters J.A.D., great shape to bowl and very little wear..

The Hallmarks and makers marks are clearly struck and the spoon is made of a good gauge of silver.
For a spoon of 184 years old the condition is good Antique condition, no damage, bruises, no flat spots dinks dents or repairs, very little wear to the tip of the bowl, a few surface scratches commensurate with age.
