Very collectable Antique GEORGE III Sterling Solid Silver Soup, Stew or Serving Ladle, Hallmarked For EDINBURGH SCOTLAND 1789, making this a 234 Year old Antique Treasure.
Full Set Of Clear hallmark's for ROBERT GRAY registered from 1785 to 1791 in EDINBURGH SCOTLAND.
The Ladle is 34 cm/13.5 inches Long, and weighs a very good 186 gms, it is of the of the OLD ENGLISH design, it is monogrammed with single letter M, Although the ladle is big it has a very elegant feel to it.
The Hallmarks are very clear ,the Ladle is made of a very good gauge of silver.
The condition is good Antique condition for a Ladle that is 234 years old it has very little wear to the bowl, I believe the bowl to be of the hammered effect, no repairs or damage, surface scratches commensurate with age, it has been used, a very collectable item of SCOTTISH silver that would grace any collection..
