Seller's Description
Dot Records was a American record label which was active between 1950 and 1977. It was founded by Randy Wood. Original headquartered in Gallatin, Tennessee but in 1956 the company moved its headquarters to Hollywood, California. Here is a mid-1950's pressing (record #15490) with one of the most popular artists of the day. In excellent condition - showing a lot of gloss and few scratches! No cracks or skips and the small chip on the edge does not intrude into the grooves, but will require careful placement of the needle.
Side MB-9221 presents "Friendly Persuasion", featured in the 1956 motion picture of the same name. Side MB-9227 offers "Chains Of Love". Both are performed by Pat Boone. What a GREAT voice!
