These old DC SUPER-STARS Comics mix many different Superheroes and are always a great read and are highly collectible!

3 - May 1976 - GD - Kicks off with a great Dick Giordano and Ernie Chan cover! Superman takes a trip to the 30th Century to visit the now-adult Legion of Super-Heroes! Their reunion, however, is cut short by a mysterious Villain with ties to the Legions past! To make things worse, the Legion of Super-Villains are lurking in the background with their most devious plot yet to decimate what’s left of the Legion of Super-Heroes in this 35 page story! "The War of the Legions!" is reprinted from Adventure Comics #355 by Jim Shooter, Curt Swan & George Klien..and Lex Luthor and a certain Imp make an appearance!! "Legionaires Who Died!" is a one page tribute!
4 - DC Super Stars #4 - June 1976 - GD/VG - This 52 Page Giant stars Adam Strange, Captain Comet & The Space Ranger! "Puzzle of the Perilous Prisons!" by Gardner Fox, Carmine Infantino and Murphy Anderson finds Mortan has filled Alanna with negative Zeta Beam radiation, which will cause her to explode if she touches Adam Strange! "The Army of Interplanetary Beasts!" is by Jim Mooney and has a criminal that has trained various Alien animals to perform robberies on his behalf...and only Space Ranger can stop him! ReprintsTales of the Unexpected #45 (January 1960)! "Destination Doom!" stars Captain Comet by John Broome and Murphy Anderson as mysterious Aliens appear above Earth demanding to be given one average Earthling! Reprints Strange Adventures #14 (November 1951)!

8 - Oct. 1976 - VF/NM - "Siren of the Space Ark" is by Gardner Fox, Carmine Infantino and Sid Greene in another Adam Strange adventure! "The Great Plutonium Plot!" stars The Space Ranger by Gardner Fox (plot), Edmond Hamilton (script) and Pencils by Bob Brown! "Who Saved the Earth?"sees the Star Rovers in action by Gardner Fox and
Sid Greene! There's also an Auquaman Twinkies ad!
9 - Nov. 1976 - VF/NM - "The Super-Gun!" by Jerry Siegel, Curt Swan and Sheldon Moldoff shows Lex Luthor designs Weapon-X, a device that can drain Superman's powers and use them to power a weapon powerful enough to destroy Superman. Bert Talbot is supposed to use the weapon to help spring Luthor from prison but instead decides to try to use the weapon to destroy Superman himself! Reprints Superman #144 (April 1961)! "The Gun-Fighting Statue!" stars The Nighthawk by Don C. Cameron and Ruben Moreira! "The Unsinkable Gun!" is by Bill Finger, Ross Andru and Mike Esposito, as U.S. Troops take on Nazis from Our Fighting Forces #17 (January 1957)! "The Sightless Sharpshooter!" is by Ralph Mayo, a Crime Reprint from Gang Busters #47 (August-September 1955)! "The Secret Story of Ray-Gun 64!" is by John Broome, Frank Giacoia and Joe Giella that is a Science-Fiction Reprint from Mystery in Space #5 (December 1951-January 1952)!!
