Original British 10 inch x 8 inch Front-of-House Still (Lobby Card) of ANTON WALBROOK, SALLY GRAY & PERCY PARSONS in the 1941 Brian Desmond Hurst Wartime Drama DANGEROUS MOONLIGHT.
This hugely successful romance was shot during the Blitz at Denham Film Studios, which was itself caught in the onslaught. Sally Gray plays an American reporter who falls in love with a Polish pilot and pianist (Anton Walbrook).
The film’s ‘Warsaw Concerto’ became one of the best-loved pieces of music during this time and is, for many, synonymous with the Blitz.
The still is in good condition with slight surface cracking. The words ‘R.K.O. Radio Pictures Ltd. Printed before the 26th January 1942’ are embossed in the lower right corner
