Seller's Description
Coral Records was a Decca Records subsidiary based in the United States. Various jazz and swing band recordings were issued on Coral in the 1940's and is fondly remembered by early rock & roll fans as the home of the incomparable Buddy Holly and The Crickets. Coral was swallowed up by MCA Records in the late 1960s.
This double-sided recording still plays great, and shows quite a bit of gloss! Exceptionally clean with just a few scratches, and no skips, cracks, or chips. Clear sounding with moderate background hiss.
Side 80233 presents "I Still Feel The Same About You".
Side 80234 offers "Get Out Those Old Records". Both vocals are performed by Georgia Gibbs, (a genuinely talented pop vocalist, whose jazz-tinged approach reflected years of experience in the big band era), with the Owen Bradley Sextet.
