Seller's Description
1925 was the year Columbia switched from the old method of acoustically recorded pressings to the new electric recording process licensed from Western Electric. This company has a long history, dating back to 1888, and was one of the "Big Three" in recording companies, competing with Edison and Victor. They remain the oldest continually used brand name in recorded sound, now owned by Sony Music since 1988.
From the latter 1940's, this recording has been well preserved. In excellent condition, showing extremely light and incidental playwear on a high gloss surface. Clear audio throughout. No cracks, chips, or skips.
Side CO 38077 features, "I'll Get By", and side CO 38080 lists the melody, "I'll See You In My Dreams".
These vocals are performed by Buddy Clark, with the Mitchell Ayres Orchestra.
