Seller's Description
A most UNUSUAL card. First, the face is spotless and sharp all around! Kept all these years in a plastic sleeve for protection. Printed in Germany (Nr. 4446 - 4 Dessin), the graphics are a vintage image but what's on the back adds to it's charm.
This card was never mailed, but left for the milkman (in the days when milk was delivered to your door) with the inscription, "Do not bring milk Sunday night as we will be away." The signature is that of "Mrs. BORDEN." The only thing that I can imagine being better is if her first name was Elsie.
