Seller's Description
Record #37891. Offered here is an exceptionally clean, clear, and pleasant sounding pair of mid-1940's recordings featuring the fabulous voice of Dorothy Shay. In her heyday during the '40s and early '50s, Dorothy was known as the "Park Avenue Hillbilly" - singing humorous "hillbilly" songs, while dressed to the nines in an evening gown.
Light play wear overall, with almost no scratches. Lots of HIGH GLOSS still shows! No cracks, skips, or chips.
Side HCO 2379 presents "The Style To Which I'm Accustomed", and side HCO 2381 offers, "He's The One", with the attached name label covered to protect privacy. Both are accompanied by Orchestra under the direction of Mischa Russell.
