Seller's Description
1925 was the year Columbia switched from the old method of acoustically recorded pressings to the new electric recording process licensed from Western Electric. This company has a long history, dating back to 1888, and was one of the "Big Three" in recording companies, competing with Edison and Victor. They remain the oldest continually used brand name in recorded sound, now owned by Sony Music since 1988.
Offered here is a mostly clean and decent sounding pair of 1940's The Three Flames recordings.

Side CO 37382 presents "Viddle De Vop", a vocal and instrumental with "Tiger" Haynes, and side CO 37383, "Johnny Take My Wife", a real toe tapper! Light surface wear and some scratches are to be expected but no skips are caused. Good gloss remains with no breaks, skips, or chips.
