Seller's Description
"The wizard of the keyboard," Frankie Carle was one of the most popular pianists of the 1940's and 1950's.

Starting in 1916, he worked with a number of mainstream dance orchestras. He became a featured performer (and later partner) in the Horace Heidt orchestra, leaving in 1944 to form his own band. His daughter, billed as Marjorie Hughes, was the lead singer. Carle had several million-sellers in the late 1940's and early 1950's, including his theme song, "Sunrise Serenade" .
One edge chip on the A side requires careful placement of the needle, but does not affect the play. A small oval hairline can be heard on the first 4 or 5 grooves but causes no skips. Mostly clean and clear sounding overall, deserving of a VG+ rating.
Side HCO 2001 shows "It's All Over Now", and side HCO 2002 plays, "Either It's Love Or It Isn't". Both feature Marjorie Hughes vocal choruses.
