Seller's Description

1925 was the year Columbia switched from the old method of acoustically recorded pressings to the new electric recording process licensed from Western Electric. This company has a long history, dating back to 1888, and was one of the "Big Three" in recording companies, competing with Edison and Victor. They remain the oldest continually used brand name in recorded sound, now owned by Sony Music since 1988.

Here are
a ballad and a fox trot
played by the legendary "Swing and Sway" Sammy Kaye and his Orchestra.

A high gloss sheen shows just incidental scuff and scratch marks. Superb audio! Graded as excellent

Side CO 44235 features, "Harbor Lights", and side CO 44236 plays, "Sugar Sweet", both with vocal chorus by Tony Alamo and the Kaydets.  GREAT 1940's Big Band SOUNDS!!
