Seller's Description

1925 was the year Columbia switched from the old method of acoustically recorded pressings to the new electric recording process licensed from Western Electric. This company has a long history, dating back to 1888, and was one of the "Big Three" in recording companies, competing with Edison and Victor. They remain the oldest continually used brand name in recorded sound, now owned by Sony Music since 1988.

Offered here is an expecially clean and fine sounding pair of 1940's Harry James Orchestra fox trot arrangements.

Side CO 35098 presents "The Wonder Of You", with vocal accompaniment by Kitty Kallen.

Side HCO 1627, "I'm In Love With Two Sweethearts", with vocal chorus by Buddy Di Vito. Light surface wear but virtually no scratches will be found. No breaks, cracks, skips, or chips.
