Seller's Description
1925 was the year Columbia switched from the old method of acoustically recorded pressings to the new electric recording process licensed from Western Electric. This company has a long history, dating back to 1888, and was one of the "Big Three" in recording companies, competing with Edison and Victor. They remain the oldest continually used brand name in recorded sound, now owned by Sony Music since 1988.
We are pleased to offer the rousing and extraordinary music from the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey's Band! This record is 1 of 3 different listings from the same artists and are offered separately for those wishing to acquire only a single record. Should you want more than one you will benefit savings on combined shipping.
Side C58-7 offers the march, "Royal Decree", and side C58-8 presents, "Fosterettes March", "Spring Beautiful Spring", and "Broadway One-Step". Mostly clean with no breaks, skips or chips. EXCELLENT SOUNDS!
