Capitol record #15046. Songwriter Johnny Mercer created Capitol Records in 1942 with Hollywood music store owner Glenn Wallichs and movie producer Buddy DeSylva.
This early 1950's recording is in like-new condition, showing a high gloss under light playwear with very few scuffs and scratches - for a clear and pleasing sound. No cracks or skips but some tiny incidental edge chips.
Side 3197 presents, "My Wife Has Gone And Left Me", and side 3232 lists "Helen Polka", both vocalized by The Sportsmen, with orchestral accompaniment.
