Since refilling is a DIY activity there is also potential for you do something wrong. If a fault develops with your cartridge you may reclaim the unused toner and use it in another one.
• This printer has a separate imaging drum unit. There is little that can go wrong with the toner cartridge.
• Instructions are included for refilling with the "Melt Hole and Pour" method, as additional information to help you with the task. There is a filler cap but its usually welded in place.
