Bridal Dress and Bridesmaid or Prom Dress, Simplicity 6888. Simplicity Pattern Co Inc, NY, 1975. Misses Size: 10 (B32-1/2, W25, H34-1/2). One style cut, balance not cut. Envelope in very good condition. 17 pattern pieces. The dress with optional lining has skirt back gathered to bodice back above normal waistline, back zipper, set-in sleeves gathered to armholes, self-fabric tie ends caught in side front seams and a lower ruffle. Views 1, 2 or 3 with long sleeves has yoke front and back, high round neckline, stand-up collar and lace edging with lace trim. View 1 & 2 feature lace yoke and lace overlays for front and one ruffle section. View 3 with ruffled detachable train of dress fabric has contrasting yoke and sleeves and purchased appliques.
