144 - Nov. 1978 - NM- "The Arrow of Eternity!" by Writer Bob Haney, Pencils and Inks by Jim Aparo, Colorist Jerry Serpe and Letterer Jim Aparo shows on a quest to find an enchanted arrow, Batman and Green Arrow are sent back to the year 1415 to face the Gargoyle at the Battle of Agincourt! Batman and Green Arrow are forced to battle the warriors of the middle ages, but they eventually manage to return to the present after they confront the Gargoyle and defeat him in combat! Next, Human Target: "The Symphony for the Devil Contract!" is by Len Wein, Pencils and Inks by Dick Giordano, Colorist Glynis Oliver and Letterer Ben Oda sees Christopher Chance takes on the identity of a famous conductor whose life is threatened by a madman!
145 - Dec. 1978 - NM- Batman and the Phantom Stranger: "A Choice of Dooms!" by the same craetive team, sees Batman and the Phantom Stranger: "A Choice of Dooms!" sees Batman nab a known criminal in Gotham City, who refuses to give vital information on a Criminal Mastermind! Batman is surprised to get help from the Phantom Stranger, who revals the man is under the spell of a powerful Voodoo Priest named Kaluu, who then tries to use the voodoo magic on the Phantom Stranger, but he is killed by his own tricks!
146 - January, 1979 - NM- Batman and the Unknown Soldier: "The Secret That Saved a World!" by Bob Haney, Penciler Romeo Tanghal, Inker Frank McLaughlin, Colorist Jerry Serpe and Letterer Ben Oda as Batman teams up with the Unknown Soldier to stop a Nazi spy from stealing plans to the Atomic Bomb!!
147 - Feb. 1979 - NM- "Death-Scream from the Sky!" by Cary Burkett, Jim Aparo and Jerry Serpe finds The Wayne Foundation has a communications satellite into orbit, and that the Children of Light, a terrorist group, has equipped it with a laser cannon is threatening to use it to destroy Gotham City unless their leader, Kahman Abhood, is released from custody. Batman goes to investigate at S.T.A.R. Labs, where the satellite was manufactured, and finds an unconscious Supergirl! Batman learns that, as Linda Danvers, Supergirl helped counsel student prodigy Josh Kimble, a part-time worker at STAR Labs, but whenever he came close to her, her powers faded. As Supergirl, she discovered him sabotaging the satellite, but was stripped of her powers by his presence and knocked out by an unseen attacker. Batman and Supergirl team up and eventually discover that Dr. Light is aiding the Children of Light, and that the satellite is protected by a red-sun radiation field that strips Supergirl of her powers!
