Original British 11 inch x 17 inch Trade Advertisement from Kinematograph Weekly for the 1953 Daniel Birt Drama BACKGROUND, based on the play by Warren Chetham Strode and starring Valerie Hobson, Philip Friend, Norman Wooland, Janette Scott and Mandy Miller.
The film was produced by Herbert Mason for the short-lived company Group 3 which was set up by The National Film Finance Corporation as an independent unit to finance low-budget films with untried directors with John Grierson as chairman.
The trade advert is in very good condition with one vertical fold.
