Original 1885 3 1/2 inch x 4 5/8 inch engraving titled THE ARTIST’S NURSERY.

The nursery; with the artist's wife seated in right foreground, nursing her daughter and various figures gathered in background.

Reproduced in Facsimile from the Etching by Daniel Chodowiecki (1726 - 1801). A German painter and printmaker with Huguenot and Polish ancestry, who is most famous as an etcher. He spent most of his life in Berlin, and became the director of the Berlin Academy of Art.
