Seller's Description
NR28 Antique postcard of Arthur Roberts and whilst other publishers have used this same photo this is the genuine original Tucks souvenir with Royal Crown logo on reverse - a little aged to reverse to please allow otherwise unused in outstanding condition. Comes with second Arthur Roberts real photo postcard - this has reverse places (other side) to allow (some ageing etc) but unused - surface to allow - this card I graded vg minus but a great bonus free extra to the themed listing.
Arthur Roberts (21 September 1852 27 February 1933) was an English comedian, music hall entertainer and actor. He was famous for portraying the pantomime dames and later for his comic characters and "gagging" in farces, burlesques and musical comedies. He is credited with coining the word "spoof".
