However, because of his daydreaming, Mallory O'Shea did not hear where the end of the rainbow with it's golden treasure will be during the next scheduled rainshower. So, after some thinking and help from an Armadillo riding Jose McDay, Mallory decides the best way to find the rainbow's end is to jump on it after it forms and ride it down to the pot of gold. Mallory O'Shea's song, Ridin' The Rainbow, words and music by Carol Gulley are included at the end of the book.
