Actress Mary Martin may be best known for her role as Peter Pan, but it was during the filming of "South Pacific" that she began to do needlepoint and has written a wonderful book that recalls highlights of her life onstage and off, as she tells about making her needlepoint for everyone from her children to Rodgers & Hammerstein. A very inspirational book for the beginning needle pointer with good advice on design, fabric, and stitching.
148 pages include 37 color plates, 54 B&W photos, and 16 "How To" drawings.
