Overall condition is acceptable. This is a former library book and so there is traces of a spine sticker, a "DISCARDED" stamp on the first page, and library stickers on the back cover. This is not a small paperback at 1,078 pages and a weight just a few ounces shy of a pound. This weight is the reason for the shipping cost as with packaging, it will exceed the one pound limit for the lowest media rate ship cost. The front cover has moderate to heavy edge wear, creasing parallel to the spine as caused by reading, some edge chipping, a crease/chip in the upper right corner, and expected shelf wear. The back cover has moderate to heavy edge wear, a 1cm tear on the outer edge, creasing in the upper and lower left corners, creasing near the tear, and shelf wear. The spine, amazingly, isn't as beat up as one might expect. There is a single vertical crease as caused by reading, heavy edge wear (on all edges), and chipping near where the spine label used to be. Interior pages have some discoloration.
