Overall condition is acceptable. This was a former student's book. The front cover has moderate to heavy edge wear, dog ear creasing in the upper and lower right corners, some chipping on the edges and corners, and several indents, and a crease running parallel to the spine as caused by reading. The back cover has a crease running parallel to the spine, creasing in the lower, left corner (to include some of the pages), chipping on the lower edge, and average wear. The spine has four vertical creases with moderate to heavy edge wear. Interior pages have slightly discolored with age. There is scribbling in pencil and pen on the outside edges (not the covers) and some red staining. There is a ribbon drawn in pencil on the inside back cover and on page 311, a certain part of the male anatomy drawn in pen. There are a few highlights of passages but not many.
