Offered is a third printing of "A Step Further" by Joni Eareckson. After an accident turned her into a quadriplegic in 1967, her autobiography "Joni" (released in 1976) discussed her struggles with her condition, inner being, and relationship with God. This is a follow-up to that book, expanding on her experiences coping with both her disability as well as path with God. In addition, the book was in response to readers who sought advice in how to deal with their own issues of depression and religious questioning. It includes photographs and illustrations done by Joni herself. Overall condition is acceptable. The dust jacket has seen a good bit of service and the scans of the actual book show the extent of the damage. Clear tape has been used on the inside of the dust jacket to shore up some of the tears and to prevent further erosion. It was exposed to moisture at some point and the staining shows on the inside of the dust jacket but not the exterior. The book itself has some external and minor interior foxing and some spine abrasion which rubbed off some of the gold colored print on the spine. The former owner's name is on the inside front page.
