Seller's Description
1000 Hexhead Machine Screws
- Condition: New
- Size: Believed to be 8-32 x 5/16 (Close as I can tell without opening bag)
- Finish: stainless steel (Estimated based on color and seem to be non magnetic)
- Head: 1/4" Hex Very Low Profile (about 1/32" thick)
Unfortunately their manufacturer (Dysan) has been out of business for years. As a result, I can't contact them to be able to obtain exact specs on these machine screws. Dysan had been a major manufacturer of floppy disks and floppy disk drives.
The head on these machine screws is about 1/32" thick . This leads me to suspect they are designed to be pressed into an aluminum sheet to form studs in the sheet.
