Ben-Gay is a non-prescription, topical medicinal product used to relieve joint and muscle pain of an inflammatory nature, lumbosacral pain of a spastic nature, as well as stiffness and joint pain. Methyl salicylate is a meyl ester of salicylic acid, which removes inflammation in nerve endings and joints, optimizes the permeability of capillaries and effectively reduces the outflow of fluids from inflamed areas. Ben - Gay Maze quickly penetrates the skin and provides quick relief. Menthol has a slightly cooling effect with a quick pain-relieving effect. It is available in a convenient package of 50 g.

Stearic acid, glyceryl monostearate, lanolin anhydride, polysorbate 85, sorbitan tristearate, triethanolamine, water.

Active ingredients: methyl salicylate 150 mg and menthol 100 mg.

     Methylsalicylate - removes inflammation in nerve endings and joints.
     Menthol - has a slightly cooling effect with a quick pain-relieving effect.

The ointment is applied to the skin of the affected area by massaging. This can be repeated as needed within a few hours (3-4 times a day).

Before using Ben-Gay:
Do not use:
• if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to methyl salicylate, menthol or any of the other ingredients of Ben-Gay;
​• if you have open wounds;
​• if you have inflamed skin;
​• if you are under 12 years old.

Pay special attention to:
This medicine is for external use only as described below.
​• Do not swallow it.
​• Do not use Ben-Gay with heating compresses.
​• Do not use if skin inflammation occurs.
​• Avoid getting the medicine in the eyes or other mucous membranes.
​• In case the pain lasts for 10 days or more without relief, see your doctor.

Use of other drugs:
No interactions of Ben-Gay with other drugs are expected.
