Seller's Description
Measuring 4 3/8 X 5 7/8 inches, this "Cape Cod Souvenir", #P335501 is a photo by John Alderson, image #B128. Nearly mint-state, with only minor corner wear and no writing or mailing, the back describes:
"The acknowledged landing place of the pilgrims at the water's edge in Plymouth Harbor has become a national shrine. The first permanent settlers stepped ashore here in 1620."
The date on the rock is still legible, but time and the elements continue to take their toll as seen when compared to the two previous listings of 1959 and 1967.
