Seller's Description
A spectacular view, photoed by David J. Roddy. This is Arizona's legacy from space, card #2177 from Impact Publishers and printed in Japan. 4 1/8 by 5 7/8 inches. The reverse informs us:
"With the force of a multi-megaton bomb, a speeding nickel-iron Meteor crashed to Earth nearly 49,000 years ago. Splashing nearly half-a-billion tons of rock, the resulting Crater is 4150 feet in diameter, 570 feet deep and 3 miles in circumference. Meteor Crater is located 40 miles East of Flagstaff, Arizona."
