Seller's Description
Lucas New Vehicle Specification Electrical Spare Parts List NVS 1808, October 1961 for the introduction of the Reliant Sabre Sports Car. The NVS lists were issued mid year to provide up-to-date parts information for new or changed models and whose data would have been incorporated in the next year's full CCE list. Lucas instructed dealers to discard the NVS sheets at that point. A few have survived - a rare historical document.
It provides a complete list of Lucas major units fitted to the initial Sabre followed by a limited breakdown of those units. E.g. Control Box, Distributor, Generator, Lighting Units, Starter Motor, Wiper System, etc, etc. NVS 1808 has 3 pages of typed part number information. Unillustrated.
