Seller's Description

Lusterchrome card #K-13340 is unmessaged and never mailed. Clean, front and back with light corner wear and lower edge creases. No tears. The back relates:

The equestrian statue by Cyrus E. Dallin was erected to the memory of the great patriot, Paul Revere. In the background is Christ Church, more commonly known as 'Old North Church'; from its steeple the lanterns were displayed by order of Paul Revere to signal the advance of the British troops upon the Colonists on the night of April 18, 1775.

"One if by land and two if by sea,

and I on the opposite shore will be,

ready to ride and spread the alarm

through every Middlesex Village and farm."
