Image #100. No messaging or mailing. A borderless "Colourpicture" publication, published by The Washington News Company. Card #10052. Clean and crisp corner-to-corner. Almost mint, but for traces of corner wear. View is from the Virginia side. The back tell us:
"Construction on this beautiful bridge was begun in 1926 and completed in 1932 at a total cost of $14,750,000. It was formerly opened on January 18, 1932, in the presence of President Hoover and a group of distinguished guests. The design was by McKim, Mead and White."
