Messaged and mailed to Mrs. Fred Faufall in Graniteville, MO. This is a VERY NICE looking "Colourpicture" publication, #16394, sold by Gibson Merchandise Co. Lots of history here! Reading on both the front and back.....
"Built 1839-1862. On this spot stood a whipping post used in 'dispensing justice'. At this Court House was held the famous Dred Scott Trial is 1847. On the steps was the slave auction block. Also noted as the starting point of the Daniel Boone Trail."
