Seller's Description
This downstream view, #N-715, shows the artist's conception of how things will look when completed in 1944. The card also relates:
"The dam is being speeded to completion under emergency schedules so that additional power may be available for war industries. Fontana will be the highest concrete dam east of the Rocky Mountains...towering 460 feet above bedrock. It will be 2,330 feet long and will create a lake 29 miles long."
This is a mint-state card, #E-6683, with some toning, but no writing or mailing. No tears and creaseless.
