Seller's Description
Scarce 1923 Transjordan handstamped overprint on Saudi Hejaz ½ piastre red stamp, mint with original gum. On an old album page as shown. Distinct Arabic handstamp in black (Type 10) issued during early Emirate period — an important transitional issue before Transjordan’s own definitives.
Some rough perforations typical for the issue. Overprint appears clear and consistent with known genuine examples, but due to known forgeries of these issues, offered as is - no certificate. It is from an old collection which bodes well but I haven’t had it authenticated and honestly this isn’t my area of knowledge, I have used online resources to research all of the above with mild confidence but I may have some details wrong.
Please see all photos (front, back and close-ups) for details of centring, perforations, hinge mark, and overprint clarity. What you see is exactly what you will receive
Full disclosure with my stamps, I collect coins but have accumulated stamps over the years as part of some coin lots, it isn't my area of knowledge so I have done my best to list these with clear photos and a title that I believe to be correct. Any errors are unintentional. The stamps pictured are the exact stamps you will receive.
If any information is missing send me a message and I will respond asap, I am easy to deal with.
I post within 1 day.
