Simplicity Retro Costumes Collection.
Pattern Description: MISSES' SWING DRESS: Swing and sway with these lovely dresses designed especially for dancing. Here we have a flared eight gore skirt stitched to bodice at flitted waistline, back zipper and hand or machine- stitched hems. Bodice A taken right from the 40's has sweetheart neckline shaped front yoke and gathered sleeves with sleeve headings to help keep them puffed. Sleeveless bodice B from the 50's features front notch detail. Extra seam allowances have been included for a better fitting dress.
Pattern Sizing:
North American sizes 4, 6, 8.
Eur. 30, 32, 34.
Fr. 32, 34, 36.
The envelope is in good condition with minor corner and edge folding and wear. (Please see the pictures).

Fabrics: crepe, Faille , Satin, Washed Silk, Sueded Silks/Rayons, Sandwashed Silk. Extra fabric needed to match plaids, stripes or one-way design fabrics.
Notions: Thread, two pkg. of stretch lace for hand sewn hem, one hook and eye. A: 22" zipper.
B: 16" zipper.

Don't you just hate it when you buy a pattern and there is a piece missing, or some pieces are cut to a smaller size then listed or worse yet some of the enclosed pieces are not even for the pattern you bought?
I have seen this with some of the patterns that I buy or that are given to me to sell.
That is why I take the time to inventory every piece of the pattern. I give you an accurate list of what is in the package, no surprises. Also, whenever possible, I show pictures of the front & rear of the pattern envelope, the picture from the instructions showing the different item views and the piece identification chart, the size chart and a scan of the actual pattern pieces. The suggested materials and notion lists are also supplied in my listings.
Please Note that I ship patterns via letter mail, in a plain envelope and the listed postage is for that method. My Patterns are stored in a plastic storage bags and they are shipped in the same bag placed inside of a standard envelope. If you require any other packaging/shipping please let me know prior to paying for the item
